Privacy Policy

We care about the security of your personal data. This privacy policy describes what information we collect and how we use it.

1. Information Collection

We collect email addresses, names, and information you input into the system (job descriptions, application history, and interview schedules).

2. Use of Data

The data is used solely for the functioning of the Joblendar service, including sending notifications, tracking statistics, and calendar integrations.

3. Data Security

We use modern encryption and security measures to prevent unauthorized access to your personal data.

4. Data Storage Location

User personal data may be processed and stored on servers located in the United States, including on a dedicated VPS. This includes account data, uploaded files (including resumes), and backups.

5. Government Access and the CLOUD Act

If data is processed or stored on servers in the United States, it may be subject to U.S. law, including the CLOUD Act (Clarifying Lawful Overseas Use of Data Act). In such cases, upon a lawful request, U.S. authorities may require access to your data, regardless of where you are located. We disclose information only where required by applicable law.

6. Your Rights & Data Erasure

You can update your privacy settings in your dashboard or permanently delete your account at any time.

Please note: upon candidate account deletion, all your personal data (name, email address, phone number, resume files, and private evaluations) is permanently erased from our system. However, to preserve hiring metrics and recruiter pipeline history, the interview records associated with employer vacancies will be anonymized (displayed as 'Deleted Candidate'), completely removing any link to your identity.

7. Spam Protection & TCPA Compliance

We strictly comply with telephone consumer protection and anti-spam laws (including TCPA in the US and ePrivacy in the EU). Automated interview reminders via email or SMS are dispatched to candidates only after their explicit consent (opt-in) is gathered during booking. You may revoke your consent at any time by clicking the 'Unsubscribe' link in any email or modifying your notification preferences in your dashboard.

8. Web Accessibility (ADA Compliance)

We are committed to making Joblendar's booking interfaces accessible to all users, including individuals with visual or motor impairments, in compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines. If you encounter any barriers when using screen readers or keyboard navigation on our pages, please report them to info@joblendar.com.

9. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect or process personal data from individuals under 18 years of age. If we learn that a minor under 18 has registered an account or booked an interview, we will take immediate steps to delete their information from our systems. Parents or guardians who believe we have collected information from a minor may contact us at privacy@joblendar.com.

10. Biometric Information Privacy Policy

Joblendar does not collect, capture, store, or analyze biometric identifiers or biometric information (such as facial scans, voiceprints, or fingerprint patterns). Users are prohibited from utilizing the platform to process biometric data. Any recording features or integrations with video platforms (like Zoom or Teams) are governed by the hosting employer's privacy policies, and the host is responsible for compliance with biometric laws such as BIPA.
